Plane Transporting Pete Hegseth Required to Land in UK Because of Crack in Cockpit Window

An aircraft carrying Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was forced to make an emergency landing in the UK on Wednesday following a fracture was discovered in the jet's front window, according to an announcement which verified that Hegseth was safe.

"The plane touched down based on standard protocol and all individuals on the flight, including Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," a spokesperson said in a public statement.

The secretary was coming back from a quick journey to the Belgian capital during the flight.

This incident is not the initial instance that a American defense plane carrying a top government figure has experienced mechanical issues.

Months ago, a United States Air Force aircraft transporting Marco Rubio to Munich was compelled to head back to the US capital after encountering a mechanical problem.
